A mixture of mediums lori. the planets and background sky are hand painted oils on card, while the desert & foliage was digitally painted inside photoshop.
The sky was then scanned into the scene and a cloud layer put in to blend the two elements.
Much still to be done with the piece and have yet to complete the characters for the scene, but i occassonally love to mix things up and see what can be accomplished.
